Editor Mike Allen of Mythic Delilrium writes to tell us that the “biannual journal that publishes science fiction, fantasy, horror, surreal, and cross-genre poetry,” is now open for submissions. The magazine’s usual reading periods are March and April for the Summer/Fall issue, and August and September for the Winter/Spring issue.
Allen is looking poetry that “demonstrates ambition, casts new light on genre tropes, introduces readers to the legends of other cultures, re-evaluates the myths of old from a modern perspective, and twists reality in unexpected ways.” Payment is $5 per poem.
And with this reading period, Allen is starting something new. He is no longer accepting paper mail submissions, but rather will take only electronic submissions. For full guidelines and submission address, see this page.
