Destinies March Memorials

Producer and host Dr. Howard Margolin writes with the upcoming schedule for Destinies—The Voice of Science Fiction “will remember several notable people in the genre who’ve passed away recently.” The sf radio talk show airs Fridays at 11:30PM on 90.1 FM, WUSB, Stony Brook, New York. 4 March: The Destinies Soundtrack Spotlight presents a musical eulogy for composer John Barry with selections from EFX, Goldfinger, Thunderball, Diamonds Are Forever, The Living Daylights, Raise the Titanic, and his original album Eternal Echoes.
11 March: “Graphic Detail” #177: Dwayne McDuffie Memorial Press Conference. Host Dr. Howard Margolin marks his 27th anniversary with the Voice of Science Fiction by teaming up with “Sci-Fi Talk’s” Tony Tellado to speak with Static creator and Justice League writer Dwayne McDuffie, in a conversation recorded at I-Con 27.
18 March: In memory of actor Nicholas Courtney, the Destinies Audiobook Sampler presents part one of his memoir, A Soldier in Time. Plus, Christopher DeFilippis returns with Volume 2, Number 111 of “DeFlip Side.”
25 March: Part two of Nicholas Courtney’s memoir A Soldier in Time on the Destinies Audiobook Sampler. Plus, filksinger Roberta Rogow in concert at I-Con 29.
