N.K. Jemisin sold Reaper to Devi Pillai at Orbit. Agent Lucienne Diver of The Knight Agency reports it is “a very nice deal, in a two-book deal, for publication in July and August 2012.”
Diver says that in Reaper, “set in a land reminiscent of ancient Egypt, a group of warrior-priests must use dream magic to battle foreign invaders, corruption at home, and their own deadly, addictive power.”
