Philip Palmer sells two novels to Orbit

Philip Palmer sold world rights to two novels to Bella Pagan at Orbit UK. The first will be called Hellship, and both are due to be delivered in 2010. Agent John Jarrold, who handled the deal, says bother books “will see a concerted push by Orbit on both sides of the Atlantic in 2011.”
Palmer’s first two novels, Debatable Space (2008) and Red Claw (2009), were both published by Orbit, who will also publish his third, Version 43, in 2010.
Palmer started (and continues) life as a British screenwriter. He’s written mostly radio plays and television dramas.
