Allen Steele sold Hex to Ginjer Buchanan at Ace Books via agent Martha Millard. He tells SFScope “it’s the third book of what I’m now calling the Galactic Club series, which is spun-off of the Coyote series; it follows Spindrift and Galaxy Blues, and is concurrent to the events of Coyote Horizon and Coyote Destiny [due to be published in March 2010].”
