British author Steve N. Lee writes that now his book, What if…?, is part of a charity campaign. Specifically, £3/$4 from every copy sold goes to the charity Save the Children.
He says “I wrote What if…? because I had a terrific roller coaster of a story to tell. Whilst researching its themes, though, I couldn’t help but be moved by what I learned: poverty kills 24,000 children every single day. Knowing that, I can’t sit idly by and do nothing (luckily, neither can my publisher)—for every book sold £3 ($4 US orders) goes to the charity Save the Children which feeds the world’s poorest kids. The great thing is that while £3 might seem like nothing to you and me it’s enough to feed a Third World child for nearly a month!”
“What if…? blends political intrigue and roller-coaster action with a thought-provoking exploration of global issues. Shootouts, car chases and conspiracies are interwoven with human rights and environmental crises, creating a chilling, real-life picture of the world and a story that’s as moving as it is thrilling.”
Thanks for helping to spread the word, Ian, but you’ve linked to Amazon – if readers want to support Save the Children through this campaign, please do NOT buy from that link. The charity only gets money when the book is bought directly from the publisher.

Thanks again. And thanks to those supporting the campaign.
