Publishers Weekly is reporting that Sony Animation has pre-empted film rights to The Familiars, which screenwriters Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson recently sold to HarperCollins Children’s (see this article). PW says Howie Sanders of United Talent Agency made the deal.
