Following yesterday’s announcement of Pat Morrissey’s new art gallery in New Hampshire, Andrew Porter writes to tell us of the opening of Fusion Designs Gallery, which “displays and sells the work of Leo and Diane Dillon and their son Lee Dillon.” This gallery is at 140 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11201, at the edge of Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill.
The first show, running now, is “Shakespeare covers of the 1960s”.
The store is owned and run by partners Lee Dillon and Greg Schmitz, who launched Fusion Designs in 2001. After partnering with Leo and Diane Dillon in 2002, the company expanded its offerings to include Fine Art, Limited Edition Prints, and Licensing Work. Fusion Designs sells greeting, note, and Christmas cards by the trio, both at the gallery and through retail card and art shops.
The web site is at fusiondesignsny.com. For more information, the gallery’s phone number is 718-522-2037.
