ASP Comics is now making single issues of its flagship title Artesia available as free downloads at the e-book store Wowio. They expect to make other titles available later in the year. The entire run of the series is now available (see this page for the list and links).
According to ASP’s Brian Petkash, “From the very first issue of Artesia through to the last issue of Artesia Afire, you can read the book on your desktop or laptop at anytime.”
“Trying to find new ways to bring our titles to as many people as possible is a constant challenge, particularly in the web environment,” said creator and ASP Publisher Mark Smylie. “We’ve watched as a number of indie publishers like ourselves have tried Wowio and have heard nothing but good things from them, and so we’re going to see if we can help spread the word about some of our previously published titles by providing them to Wowio’s many users, starting with Artesia.”
