Jason Sizemore, the editor and publisher of Apex Science Fiction and Horror Digest, has announced a subscription drive. He says, in part, “the reality of the situation is that we need 150 new subscribers (or roughly $3000), or we’re looking at a hiatus until I have enough disposable income to push oput another issue.” So he’s out stumping for subscribers.
In addition to the typical four issues for $20 deal, he’s “re-initiated the Apex for Life subscription option that gives you Apex until you die,” for $100. All new life subscribers will be entered into a drawing for prizes which include signed and unsigned books and galleys. And since Sizemore announced the drive a few days ago, other supporters of the magazine have chimed in, offering still more prizes. The list is spread through several blog posts on the company’s front page at www.apexbookcompany.com. To subscribe to the magazine, go to this page.
