British actress Hilda Braid died 6 November 2007. Born 3 March 1929 in Northfleet, Kent, England, she was best known as Nana Moon on the British soap opera EastEnders. She began her stage career in the 1950s, and made her television debut in 1960.
Her genre appearances include roles in the films Goodnight Sweetheart (1993) and Killers Moon (1978), and the tv series They Came from Somewhere Else (1984).
Her husband, the actor Brian Badcoe, died in 1992. They had one son and one daughter.
