“Philologos; or, a Murder in Bistrita” by Debra Doyle and James D. Macdonald
“The Boarder” by Alexander Jablokov
“The Second Descent” by Richard Paul Russo
“Render Unto Caesar” by Kevin N. Haw
The novelette, which Assistant Editor John Joseph Adams reports is a “slush survivor” is “Retrospect” by Ann Miller.
