John Scalzi reports that he and publisher Subterranean Press have pushed back the anticipated publication date of Your Hate Mail Will be Graded: Selected Writings 1998-2007 to early 2008. The book will be a compilation of writings from Scalzi’s popular blog, Whatever.
Explaining the move, Scalzi noted that “as we prepped Hate Mail for later this year, I couldn’t help notice that 2008—and my tenth year of writing the Whatever—was right around the corner. And, you know. Ten years is a nice round number. So Hate Mail is being revamped to be a ten-year retrospective of the site, which should be both interesting and fun to do.”
Summing up, he remarked “Ten years. Damn. I’ve been doing this for a long time.”
