Tower.com will soon be interviewing author John Scalzi, but they decided to forego the difficulty of coming up with questions. Instead, they’re asking readers to submit questions. On this page about Scalzi’s new book, The Last Colony, they say “What better way to get the information you want to know than to have you ask the man questions yourself? Send us questions about Scalzi’s new book, The Last Colony or anything you might want to know about one of our favorite writers and you might see his answer when we post his interview here.” As an incentive, they’ll randomly pick five people who’ve submitted questions to receive free copies of The Last Colony. The author notes that he’ll be autographing those five copies, too.
Fantasybookspot.com is also giving away a copy of the novel, but they’ve cleverly hidden the details of the contest. The announcement is on this page, and the contest ends 24 April.
