Christina Lauren is the pseudonym of writing duo Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings, known for their “Beautiful Bastard” series of adult novels. Now they’ve sold a YA novel, to be entitled Sublime, to Simon & Schuster’s teen division. The book, scheduled to appear in Autumn 2014, will be edited by Zareen Jaffery, who negotiated the deal with Holly Root of the Waxman Leavell agency.

The book is described as “the story of Lucy and Colin, who are passionately in love. The only problem is that Lucy’s a ghost. With each passing day their lives intertwine more deeply, and even as Lucy begins to remember the details of her life—and her death—neither of them is willing to give up what they have, no matter how impossible it seems.”
