The Liars Club presents How to Write and Sell Short Stories with best-selling, award-winning author Keith R.A. DeCandido.

What: Six 2-hour classes once a month, plus assignments to be completed between classes.

When: The last Tuesday of every month from September 2013 to February 2014, from 7-9pm.

More About the Class: This writing-intensive program will teach you how to craft a professional-quality story from concept to finished draft, revise it, identify viable markets, and send it out.

We will explore how to find markets for your work, including print, e-zines, and other venues. Each participant will write, revise and submit one story per month for the six-month run of the class.

There will also be a closed Yahoo! group just for the class, where out-of-class discussions may take place (and also where files can be uploaded).

The teacher is both an author and an editor of short fiction of twenty years’ standing.
