Waylines Magazine released the Web Edition of its third issue, a fantasy themed issue. The latest issue features two new short stories, three new short films, eight interviews and an editorial.
The two short stories featured are –
1) Finnish writer, Leena Likitalo presents a beautiful, and evocative tale of love, magic, and death in the magical realms of “The Horses Under Her Skin.”
2) Kate Heartfield offers a cautionary tale that explores life choices, sacrifice, and regret, all through one man’s magic box, in “Word for Word.”
The three featured films for Issue 2 are –
1) “Everything I Can See From Here,” a beautifully animated, whimsical tale by director’s Sam Taylor and Bjorn Aschim about a soccer-loving alien .
2) “Stanley Pickle” Victoria Mather’s enchanting human-stop motion tale of a boy, a girl, and the magical world they live in.
3) Evan Viera’s “Caldera,” an amazing animation delving into the subconscious world, one you won’t want to miss
The issue also features interviews with directors Sam Taylor, Bjorn Aschim, Victora Mather and Evan Viera as well as with writers Leena Likitalo and Kate Heartfield. Featured interviews are with Mary Robinette Kowal, and author Aliette de Bodard.
The Digital Download edition for digital readers will be released on the last day of May. Featuring all the Web Edition content, the Digital Download will also include exclusive content, including, Screen Gems, a film review section, and other features.
