Off to Balticon for the weekend. For those of you who don’t know, Balticon is a major science fiction convention in suburban Baltimore (actually, a place called Hunt Valley).

I’ll be spending most of my time behind the Fantastic Books table in the dealers’ room (one of our authors, Allen Steele, is the recipient of this year’s Robert A. Heinlein Award [see this article]). I’m also scheduled to be on programming, so look for me there, as well as the meet-the-guests reception Friday night.

Thus, SFScope won’t be updating until Tuesday (and then, it’ll be a foreshortened week, as Book Expo America comes to New York, and I spend several days there).
