MTV Movie Award Winners Announced

In a ceremony hosted by comedian Rebel Wilson, MTV handed out its Movie Awards tonight. We somehow missed mentioning the nominees when they were announced, so we’re combining both announcements here. The winners and other nominees are:

Movie of the Year: The Avengers
Other nominees: The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, Django Unchained, Silver Linings Playbook, and Ted.

Best Male Performance: Bradley Cooper (in Silver Linings Playbook)
Other nominees: Ben Affleck (Argo), Channing Tatum (Magic Mike), Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln), and Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained).

Best Female Performance: Jennifer Lawrence (in Silver Linings Playbook)

Best Scared-as-S**t Performance: Suraj Sharma (in Life of Pi)
