As part of its continued support for members, Loncon 3 is introducing an Installment Plan which will enable fans to spread the cost of an Attending membership over 3 quarterly or 4 monthly installments. Under the Plan, fans will buy a Supporting membership first (currently £25.00 or US$40.00) and then pay the fee for conversion to Attending membership over 3 quarterly or 4 monthly installments.

The total charge for the membership will be frozen at the time of signing up to the Plan. (Note also that membership rates in general will increase from 1 May 2013.)

The scheme is available to Adults, Young Adults and Families.

To join the scheme Adults and Young Adults must be or become Supporting members of Loncon 3, including the Adult members and any Young Adult members covered by a Family membership.

Interest in the Installment Plan has already been strong. Loncon 3 wants to make membership more accessible to science fiction fans from as many countries as possible and from all ages and backgrounds.
