Chuck Gannon can’t put down his pen

A press release from Charles E. Gannon:

Dr. Charles E. Gannon, now represented by Eleanor Wood of the Spectrum Literary Agency, is launching a new series in April and confirms numerous contracts with Baen Books and one with Arc Manor Press.

Fire With Fire (Baen, April 2013), is the first book in his new hard sf interstellar series, Tales of the Teran Republic, and he has contracted for two more, the next to be titled Trial By Fire.

His Ring of Fire collaboration with Eric Flint—1635: The Papal Stakes—spent two weeks in the top ten of the Wall Street Journal’s Bestseller list for Science Fiction and Fantasy, and his next book  in that series (again, with Eric Flint) has the working title 1635: Commander Cantrell in the West Indies. He is contracted for another novel entitled 1636: The Vatican Sanction and a third with title as yet unspecified. Sometime within the next 12 months, Gannon and Flint will also debut a joint steampunk series, Steam, Aether, Empire with a pair of linked novellas released by Arc Manor Press. Gannon’s tale is entitled White Sand, Red Dust.

Gannon also has contracts for two more books in Baen’s Starfire series (written in collaboration with Steve White). Their titles are, respectively, Imperative and Oblivion. And another of his novellas– By The Book —will appear in the 20th anniversary anthology for the Honor Harrington series, Beginnings.
