New (and used) horror book store opens in Colchester, Connecticut

The Norwich Bulletin reportsthe opening of a horror bookstore, called Books and Boos, in Colchester, Connecticut (specifically, at 514 Westchester Road, on the corners of Routes 16 and 149). Owners Stacey and Jason Harris are quoted as offering new and used books “and novelties, such as the red ‘blood stain’ pillows made by Stacey, will be geared toward horror aficionados. But the used titles run the gamut from children’s and humor to how-to books. Many of the paperbacks sell in the $1 to $2 range.”

The store’s grand opening on December 8 will feature a read by author Kristi Petersen Schoonover (Bad Apple) from noon to 2 p.m.
