My students and audiences often ask when I will offer longer, more intensive classes and mentoring once again. In response, I’m opening my studio to the public for the first time, for occasional Master Classes. I’ll be restricting the classes to only a few students at a time, to allow me to give each person very personal attention. And due to my busy exhibiting, writing and lecturing schedule, I’ll be able to offer these classes only a few times a year.

My first Master Class will be “Take Your Photography To The Next Level,” October 27-28, 2012.

The class will be “an intense two day immersion into photography, rethinking composition, light and editing. Students will:
Take full advantage of high tech to create true art
Explore the process from conceptualization to capture and editing
Get the most out of your DSLR
See and capture light with new sensitivity and sensibility
Discover and expand your own personal vision
Explore both the philosophy and technology of photography
Have the use of your own high-powered workstation loaded with professional software
Includes Sally’s personal critique of your portfolio and a discussion with her of where you want to go from here.
