This year’s World Fantasy Convention has released its second Progress Report as a 20-page downloadable pdf file. Contents of PR2 include messages from the Chairman and Vice Chairman, information on hospitality, an interview with Executive Chef Glen Gardner, information on the program book, art show, and dealers’ room, comments from the publisher liaison, hotel information and directions, information on the International Festival of Authors (taking place in October), and a three-page list of current members. The World Fantasy Convention this year will be held 1-4 November at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel, Suites & Conference Centre, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Guests of honor include Elizabeth Hand, John Clute, Richard A. Kirk, Gary K. Wolfe, Charles de Lint, Tanya Huff, Patricia Briggs, Mercedes Lackey, and Larry Dixon.
