Agent Richard Curtis reports that Amazon appears ready to acquire all the assets of the defunct Dorchester Publishing. As part of the plan, Amazon intends to pay all the owed back royalties.
The deal is not yet finalized. The actual method of this acquisition is an auction, and other parties are eligible to bid in the sale on 28 August (bids must be received, along with earnest deposits, by 15 August).
Curtis’s full article, including the notice of the sale, is available on this page.
