Mark Hodder sells three new Burton and Swinburne books, plus foreign rights sales

Eddie Schneider of the JABberwocky Literary Agency reports a series of original and foreign rights sales for Mark Hodder:
Lou Anders at Pyr bought rights to three new Burton and Swinburne Adventures: The Secret of Abdu El-Yezdi the Mystic, In the Grip of the Beast, and The Mystery of the Multiplying Men. The books run parallel to his Philip K. Dick Award-winning series.
UK rights for the books, including standalone A Red Sun Also Rises, sold to Michael Rowley at Ebury, in his first acquisition for their soon-to-be-named SF imprint, in a four-book deal. The sale was in an auction conducted by subagent John Berlyne at the Zeno Agency.
Japanese publisher Tokyo Sogen bought rights to The Strange Affair of Spring Heeled Jack, The Curious Case of the Clockwork Man, and Expedition to the Mountains of the Moon. The “very nice deal, at auction,” was conducted by Hamish Macaskill at The English Agency.
Czech publisher Triton bought rights to The Strange Affair of Spring Heeled Jack and The Curious Case of the Clockwork Man via Tereza Dubova at Kristin Olson Literary Agency.
