A press release from Choc Lit Publishing:
Award winning, independent publisher Choc Lit, are venturing into vampire books. They snapped up world rights for Sarah Tranter‘s No Such Thing As… trilogy, ahead of London Book Fair, directly from the author. The first book, No Such Thing As Immortality? will be published in early 2013. The publisher will announce more details of the second and third books in the No Such Things As… series, nearer the time.
Although Choc Lit novels stand out from most romances by clearly developing a male perspective, No Such Thing As Immortality? is their first novel to be written entirely from the hero’s point of view. The book is about a community of five vampires in residence at a remote house in Derbyshire. Their community and relatively peaceful existence is shattered by the discovery, that despite the fact they don’t believe in faeries, it seems that fate may have thrust one into their midst.
Sarah Tranter is married and has two boys. She was formerly a constituency researcher for a Labour MP, a political lobbyist and a London PR. No Such Thing as Immortality? is her debut novel. Choc Lit are confident that Mrs Tranter’s trilogy will help broaden their readership, by tapping the popular vein of vampire fandom. Their first venture into this new genre will be published on August 7th, with the release of Vampire State of Mind, by Jane Lovering, who won Romantic Comedy 2012, awarded by The Romantic Novelists’ Association.
