2012 Philip K. Dick Award Winner

Award Administrator Gordon Van Gelder announces the winner of this year’s Philip K. Dick Award: The Samuil Petrovitch Trilogy—including Equations of Life, Theories of Flight, and Degrees of Freedom—by Simon Morden (published by Orbit). In addition, a special citation was given to: The Company Man by Robert Jackson Bennett (Orbit).
The award, for best original paperback published in the US in 2011, is sponsored by the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society and awarded at Norwescon. Our January article listed all the nominees and more information on the award.
The judges were Scott Baker (chair), Mark Budz, Roby James, Darrell Schweitzer, and Alice K. Turner.
