Osombie: The Axis of Evil Dead

A Kickstarter project:
Osombie is an independently-produced, feature-length zombie film, packed with violence, mayhem, guns, blood and discussions about Pokemon. Oh, and zombies. Lots of zombies.
Also, the film has already been shot and edited, and we’re only looking for additional funding to finish post-production sound and music, so this is not some pie-in-the-sky dream. Our trailer is actual footage and effects from the film, so you can get a good gauge of the quality.
The story follows Dusty, a yoga instructor from Colorado, who is on a desperate rescue mission to save her crazy brother Derek, a conspiracy theorist who is convinced Osama Bin Laden is still alive, despite having been buried at sea. In Afghanistan, Dusty falls in with a team of NATO Special Forces on a secret assignment. Turns out Derek is not so crazy after all, and that Osama has returned from his watery grave and is making an army of zombie terrorists. When the group crashes headlong into the growing zombie apocalypse, Dusty and the troops must find and destroy the root of the zombie insurgency before it infests the rest of the world.
The Cast:
Corey Sevier (Chip)—a rising star, Corey has starred in a number of films, including The Lost Future with Sean Bean, Age of Dragons with Danny Glover, and the upcoming 3D horror Apartment 1303 with Mischa Barton.
Eve Mauro (Dusty)—well-known for her modelling work with leading publications, including Maxim, Eve is receiving an increasing number of starring roles, following her memorable work in Wicked Lake, The Steam Experiment, Miss March and recurring roles in CSI.
Danielle Chuchran (Tomboy)—a blossoming teen actress, Dani has appeared in a number of films, including Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat with Mike Myers, ABC’s Little House on the Prairie, The Wild Stallion, and Snow Beast with John Schneider.
Our Rewards: We’re not looking for charity, we’re looking for an alternate sales venue—that’s why our rewards reflect fair market value. Don’t think of it as a donation, think of it as a pre-purchase. If you want to see this film, buy it now through Kickstarter—you’ll probably get a better deal from us than from whatever retailer ends up selling it in your country, and you’ll help make our film better!
The Filmmakers: We’re a small group of independent filmmakers who love making movies, and have been at it for about a decade. It’s our full-time job, and every film we have made has received worldwide distribution. We do pretty much everything ourselves, from conception to financing to production to securing distribution.
