Con ribbon manufacturer Kathie M. Spiss dies

Chas. Baden Boston, via SFScope friend Andrew Porter, writes:
You may never have heard of this woman, but it’s likely that if you’ve been to an SF convention, you’ve worn one of her ribbons.
Kathie M. Spiss was owner of RV Awards, a company in Tucson, Arizona, that made the ribbons that fans have worn on their badges at conventions around the world. Her company also made the rosettes used at the Equestrian Competition during the Athens Olympics. She died on January 30th at the age of 68. An obituary is here: here.
