Cherie Priest wins Endeavour Award

This year’s Endeavour Award winner was announced at OryCon this weekend. Cherie Priest won for her novel Dreadnought (published by Tor). The award is for “a distinguished science fiction or fantasy book written by a Pacific Northwest author or authors”, and comes with a $1000 prize.
This year’s judges were John Joseph Adams, Bud Sparhawk, and Jo Walton. We listed all the nominees in this article.
The deadline to submit books for consideration for next year’s award (for books published during 2011) is 15 February 2012.
