Rise of the Planet of the Apes held steady at #2, turning over $22.4 million, for a three-week total of $139.8 million. Spy Kids: All the Time in the World opened at #3, seeking out $16.0 million. Jason Momoa’s Conan the Barbarian opened at #4, slaying $13.5 million. The Smurfs slipped from #4 to #5, smurfing up $11.4 million, for a four-week total of $121.2 million. Fright Night opened at #6, sucking up $11.2 million. Final Destination 5 fell from #3 to #7, scaring up $10.7 million, for a two-week total of $35.4 million.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II fell from #7 to #11, conjuring up $6.7 million, for a six-week total of $368.2 million. Captain America: The First Avenger slipped from #9 to #12, commanding $5.9 million, for a five-week total of $166.5 million. Cowboys & Aliens fell from #6 to #13, rounding up $5.9 million, for a four-week total of $91.1 million. Transformers: Dark of the Moon fell from #14 to #18, transforming $900 thousand, for an eight-week total of $348.8 million. Cars 2 fell from #17 to #23, revving up $500 thousand, for a nine-week total of $187.1 million. Green Lantern, fell from #20 to #24, shining up $500 thousand, for a ten-week total of $115.7 million.
