Editor Douglas Cohen writes with news of two big changes at Realms of Fantasy:
1. Effective with the August 2011 issue, the cover price is dropping from $6.99 to $5.99.
2. The magazine is now accepting electronic submissions of art. Cohen writes “artists should now feel free to submit their portfolios electronically. This can be done via email, and you’ll find the email address and updated guidelines in our submission guidelines section.”
As previously announced, then magazine will be closing to fiction submissions at the end of the month. Cohen says “To the writers out there, we apologize that it’s taking longer for us to make the transition to e-subs. That change is somewhat more complicated. But it is coming, along with other changes/surprises down the road we’re sure our readers will like.”
