X-Men: First Class slipped from #1 to #2, earning $34.5 million, for a two-week total of $108.4 million. Kung Fu Panda 2 slipped from #3 to #4, kicking up $24.4 million, for a three-week total of $134.6 million. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, slipped from #4 to #5, seeking out $16.2 million, for a four-week total of $214.1 million. Kids’ adventure flick Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer opened at #7. Thor fell from #6 to #9, pounding down $3.7 million, for a six-week total of $175.0 million.
Rio slipped from #11 to #12, flying away with $1.1 million, for a nine-week total of $138.2 million. Rango slipped from #18 to #19, rounding up $300 thousand, for a fifteen-week total of $122.6 million. Source Code slipped from #19 to #21, arresting $300 thousand, for an eleven-week total of $54.3 million. Insidious slipped from #21 to #23, taking in $200 thousand, for an eleven-week total of $53.3 million. Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil, which fell out of the top 25 two weeks ago, this week rebounded to #24, freeing up $200 thousand, for a seven-week total of $9.8 million.
