We tend to ignore these “Silly Season” stories, frankly because there are so many of them. But what the heck, it’s a slow Sunday, so just to remind you:
The BBC is reporting that, in response to a Freedom of Information request, the Leicester City Council has admitted it is unprepared for a zombie invasion.
Lynn Wyeth, the head of the city’s information governance, said “We’ve had a few wacky ones before but this one did make us laugh.” She continued “To you it might seem frivolous and a waste of time… but to different people it actually means something. Everybody has their own interests and their own reasons for asking these questions.”
