Rango held onto the #2 spot, rounding up $19.3 million, for a three-week total of $96.6 million. Battle: Los Angeles fell from #1 to #3, shooting up $19.0 million, for a two-week total of $65.0 million. Drama The Lincoln Lawyer opened at #4. Alien comedy Paul opened at #5, spiriting away $17.1 million. Red Riding Hood slipped from #3 to #6, gobbling up $9.4 million, for a two-week total of $28.1 million. The Adjustment Bureau slipped from #4 to #7, arranging $7.8 million, for a three-week total of $50.6 million. Mars Needs Moms slipped from #5 to #8, kidnapping $6.9 million, for a two-week total of $17.0 million. Beastly slipped from #7 to #9, making $4.1 million, for a three-week total of $23.1 million.
Gnomeo & Juliet slipped from #8 to #11, romancing up $3.1 million, for a six-week total of $94.4 million. I am Number Four slipped from #12 to #15, earning $1.4 million, for a five-week total of $53.0 million. For the third week in a row, Tangled climbed the charts instead of falling, this week from #17 to #16, spinning up $900 thousand (about 20% less than what it earned last week), for a seventeen-week total of $198.0 million. Yogi Bear slipped from #19 to #21, snatching up $600 thousand, for a fourteen-week total of $99.5 million. The Green Hornet slipped from #22 to #25, earning $300 thousand, for a ten-week total of $98.0 million.
