    Sykora was a major fan, and wrote a number of fanzines, if i remember correctly. I think he was also part of the Futurians, with Judy Merril, Asimov, Damon Knight and the rest. (I’ll have to dig out my copy of Knight’s “The Way The Future Was” to be sure.
