Danielle L. Parker sold four novels to Publisher Barbara Friend Ish at Mercury Retrograde Press.
Two of the books under the deal will be the first two novels of her noir SF series The Usurpers, while the other two will be “a series in the New Weird vein titled Artoria.” Ish tells us “readers may remember Parker’s EPPIE-award winning debut, The Infinite Instant (2009), which was originally published by Lachesis: the first novel of The Usurpers, which Mercury Retrograde will re-publish this year. The sequel, The Nihilistic Mirror, is slated for next year. The first installment of the Artoria series, Galen the Deathless, is scheduled for publication in 2012 as well.”
