Agent John Jarrold tells us that Michael Homler at St Martin’s Press has acquired US rights to the horror novel The Ritual by Adam L.G. Nevill from Harriet Sanders, Rights Director at Pan Macmillan in London. Julie Crisp originally acquired World Rights in the book.
This is the seventh translation deal for the book via Macmillan’s rights department, following on from Germany, China, France, Russia, Spain and Turkey. The Ritual will be published by Macmillan in 2011; St Martin’s plans to bring out their edition in 2012.
