Editor Douglas Cohen
is reporting that, along with the sale and impending relaunch of Realms of Fantasy, the staff is remaining with the magazines (specifically, Cohen and Fiction Editor Shawna McCarthy). Submission guidelines are on the web site, pay rates remain the same, and contract provisions should be identical under new owner Damnation Books as they were under Tir Na Nog Press.
In a comment on our article announcing the sale, new publisher Kim Richards said “We will be honoring all current subscriptions. I also believe the Dreams of Decadence subscriptions were rolled over to Realms of Fantasy by the previous owners.”
