British agent John Jarrold writes:
There is a problem with the contacts page of my web site (www.johnjarrold.co.uk. If you (or someone you know) have sent me a message there since the site was revised and updated in early July and haven’t had a full reply, I haven’t seen it. Please e-mail me direct at j (dot) jarrold (at) btinternet (dot) com. I will come back to you straight away to confirm receipt. Apologies.
The update is terrific, save for this one glitch. I should have noticed earlier that the volume of agency submissions and other queries that I usually receive every week had dropped dramatically over the past six weeks, but it has been incredibly busy!
Jarrold updates us later on 16 August: I have just received my first query sent via the website contacts form since the update on June 7 this year, and I confirmed it’s working by sending myself a message, which arrived immediately. So all is fine now—but every submission and query about the agency, editorial work or anything else sent from there since that date needs to be resent. I apologise for the hassle!
