The greatest sf spaceships now on display

The work of motion picture visual effects artist and model maker Bill George is now featured on The Sci-Fi Air Show. His remarkable creations blend remarkable model-making with some nice photomanipulation to put you on the sidelines of some of the most incredible air shows you wish you’d visited.
The site claims its “purpose is to preserve and promote the rich and varied history of Sci-Fi/fantasy vehicles. Through display and education we seek to celebrate the classic design and beauty of these ships and the rich imaginations that created them. When the cameras stopped rolling, many of these proud old ships were lost and forgotten. Please join us in working to keep these rare and beautiful birds soaring.”
Currently featured craft include:
the Orion space plane from 2001: A Space Odyssey
a Shuttle and several Vipers from the original Battlestar Galactica
the Flying Sub from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
the Spindrift from Land of the Giants
the Hawk and the Eagle from Space: 1999
Thanks to Andrew I. Porter for bringing this to our attention.
