ChiZine Publications announces the Thief of CZP Books Contest. The winner will receive a two-year book subscription from ChiZine Publications (a copy of every book they publish for the next two years, valued at approximately $450).
To enter the contest, you’ll have to purchase a copy of Tim Lebbon’s The Thief of Broken Toys from Amazon (Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, or Amazon.co.uk) on 1 June 2010. After buying the book on that date, forward a copy of your electronic receipt (showing the date of purchase) to thief-contest at gmail dot com. CZP is giving away one prize for each of the three Amazon sites. They’ll hold a random drawing on 3 June to determine the winners.
To sweeten the pool, CZP’s Laura Marshall says, “if The Thief of Broken Toys makes it into the top 100 on any of the three Amazon sites, an additional two-year trade paperback subscription will be given away. And if the book makes it into the top 10 on any of the three Amazon sites, a one-year signed limited edition hardcover subscription to ChiZine Publications will be given away for each site (roughly a $650 value).”
The book lists for US$10.95, and is currently selling on Amazon.com at US$7.88. It’s priced at C$12.95, and selling for C$11.19 on Amazon.ca. And it’s listed at £8.50 and selling for £7.65 on Amazon.co.uk.
