“J.K. Beck” sells books 4-6 of the “Shadow Keepers” to Bantam Dell

Julie Kenner, writing as J.K. Beck, sold the fourth, fifth, and sixth books in her soon-to-be-published “Shadow Keepers” to Shauna Summers at Bantam Dell. Agent Kimberly Whalen at Trident Media Group handled the deal for world rights. “Shadow Keeper” is a series of paranormal romances about an age-old judicial system that is hidden within and mirrors our own.
Book one in the series, When Blood Calls, is due to appear this August.
A lawyer by training, Kenner’s first novels appeared in 2000. Since then, she’s won the Romantic Times‘ Reviewer’s Choice Award for Best Contemporary Paranormal of 2001, the Reviewers International Organization’s award for best romantic suspense of 2004 and best paranormal of 2005, and the National Readers’ Choice Award for best mainstream book of 2005.
