The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction Editor Gordon Van Gelder writes to tell us that the magazine’s Competitions editor Carol Pinchefsky appeared Sunday night on the Food Network’s Food Challenge.
The episode—which is scheduled to be rebroadcast on 21 April at 7PM, on 24 April at 6PM, and on 25 April at 7PM—is titled “Sugar Impossible”. In it, according to the network, “Four sugar artists take on a potentially impossible task in this Challenge: make a four foot tall science fiction scene in sugar. The catch? The showpiece must move. Potential for crashes and disaster looms. But the competitor that can make a great showpiece that is still standing strong at the end of the competition will win ten thousand dollars.”
