Film/television/print authors David Goyer and Michael Cassutt sold a science fiction adventure trilogy to Ginjer Buchanan at Ace Books. Agent Simon Lipskar at Writers House handled the deal.
The books, to be called Heaven’s Shadow, Heaven’s War, and Heaven’s Fall, will begin appearing in July 2011. The story follows “teams of astronauts sent to intercept an object hurtling toward Earth, which is filled with alien forces.”
Goyer has writing credits on nearly twenty motion pictures, including Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, and television series including FlashForward. Cassutt has written for Stargate, FarScape, and The Twilight Zone, to name a few.
