ChiZine Publications (CZP) continues trying to grow its traditional publishing. Co-Publisher Brett Alexander Savory tells us they’ve signed a deal with Diamond Book Distributors to have CZP books placed in US and UK bookstores.
“It’s another step forward, but a bigger risk,” said Savory. “Getting books on the shelves means getting those books printed. If they don’t sell, we eat that cost. But our experiment with the Literary Press Group worked. Some of our books sold out. So if we’re going to grow, we need to be in major markets like the US and UK.”
The first Diamond-distributed CZP books should be in the bookstores in early 2010.
