Eric Shapiro sells collection to Permuted Press

Eric Shapiro sold Permuted Press Stories for the End of the World. The collection will combine three short novels and seven short stories, featuring “zombies, a meteorite attack, massive flooding, a suicidal robot, some insane asylum patients, and a woman who gives birth to an enormous bird.”
Shapiro said “I’m excited to be back in business with Permuted. Leave it to [Permuted Press owner and founder] Jacob Kier to put out a collection like this. This book will be out of its mind.”
Asked if he thinks the world is ending, Shapiro said, “The world as we know it? Definitely. Whether that means calamities are coming, I have no idea. But the way people act and think is undergoing an extreme shift. Anyone can see that. And these stories will speak to what’s happening around the world.”
