The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) will begin selling VIP tickets on 19 November 2010 at 11AM CST. The $200 VIP packages will be limited to 500. “We want to make our VIP program simple and straightforward so the fan knows exactly what they are getting when they buy this awesome ticket,” said Show Manager Lance Fensterman. “We are offering one package which includes some terrific benefits and provides great value for the customer who is seeking a truly special and unique experience at our show.”
C2E2 is a Reed Exhibitions’ new pop culture convention, sibling to their New York Comic Con (NYCC). The first C2E2 will be 16-18 April 2010 at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center.
For the far-sighted fan, the C2E2 VIP package includes 10% of all future special packages. In addition, it will include:
* Limited edition C2E2 sketch variant of original Alex Ross poster created especially for C2E2
* Limited edition C2E2 Alex Ross T-Shirt

* Guaranteed VIP seating in the IGN Theatre

Regular tickets are available, through 31 December, at $20 per day and $45 for the weekend (the prices will increase in the new year to $25 and $50). On-site tickets (if any are available) will be $30 and $60. Previously announced Guests of Honor and Special Guests include: Alex Ross, Ben Templesmith, Ethan Van Sciver, Geoff Johns, Jackson “Butch” Guice, Jeff Smith, Mike Mignola, Steve McNiven, Jill Thompson, Mike Perkins, and Mike Norton.
