Launch Pad Productions options F.M. Busby novella

Launch Pad Productions has taken an option on F.M. Busby‘s novella “First Person Plural” via Joshua Bilmes at JABberwocky Literary Agency.
Launch Pad is a relatively new, independent production company with three films to its credit, including the thriller Burning Bright (2009). It is helmed by football announcer Ed Cunningham and writer/director/producer Seth Lewis Gordon.
Busby (1921-2005) began writing in the late 1950s, and published 19 novels and many short stories, most between 1973 and 1996. He shared the 1960 Hugo for Best Fanzine, for Cry of the Nameless, with Elinor Busby, Burnett Toskey, and Wally Weber. “First Person Plural” first appeared in Universe 10, edited by Terry Carr, in 1980. In the story, a man wakes up to find himself inhabiting a woman’s body in a mental hospital.
